How it
all began.

From a student competition to a mission with purpose. This is how Argentum was born.

  1. Student competition

It all started with a challenge. In February 2026, students from engineering and business came together for a multidisciplinary competition focused on data, electronics, and mechanical engineering. Working across disciplines to solve real-world problems, we discovered how much we could achieve when different skills pull in the same direction.

  2. Winners

We took first place. The win showed us what this group was capable of, and it became the foundation for something much bigger. In April 2026 we founded USN Argentum with a single mission: to develop autonomous search and rescue robotics and compete at RoboCup Rescue 2027.

  3. Kongsberg summer internship

We got the job. Kongsberg Gruppen took eight of our members on as full-time summer interns, giving USN Argentum the backing it needed to start building its first autonomous rover.
