USN Argentum is a multidisciplinary student organization at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) developing autonomous robotic systems for search and rescue missions.

Our journey began in February 2026, when students from engineering and business came together for a technology competition focused on data, electronics, and mechanical engineering. Winning the competition inspired us to establish USN Argentum in April 2026 with a shared vision of building autonomous rescue robotics.

Over the summer of 2026, eight of our members worked full-time through a Kongsberg Gruppen summer internship to develop our first prototype, Taurus, which was unveiled on 8 August 2026. Today, our team consists of 15 students, and our next milestone is RoboCup Rescue 2027, where we aim to represent USN on the international stage.
