How We Started

USN Argentum was founded after Kongsberg and USN initiated a call for a new student organization that would contribute to emerging technology. A competition was held among student groups, and we won. From that moment, we set out to build a fully autonomous rescue rover; a team driven by the belief that technology can save lives.

In the short term, our goal is to compete in RoboCup Rescue 2027, one of the world's most demanding autonomous robotics competitions, where rovers must navigate disaster terrain and locate victims without any human control. In the long term, we want to contribute to real technology that can find and rescue people trapped in disaster zones like earthquakes, collapsed buildings, and catastrophic situations where human access is limited.
